Care & Maintenance
Our jewelry is made using high-quality materials such as sterling silver and gold plating. With the right care, your pieces will maintain their shine and finish over time.
It is not normal for jewelry made from precious metals to leave green or black marks on the skin. Natural wear may occur with use, but if you notice discoloration, it may indicate a sensitivity to certain metals.
Gold Plated
Our gold pieces are crafted from sterling silver and finished with a layer of 18k gold. This plating gives each piece its warm tone and refined look.
To preserve the gold layer, we recommend handling your jewelry with care and avoiding unnecessary exposure to moisture and chemicals.
Rhodium Plated
Some silver pieces are finished with a rhodium coating. Rhodium enhances the brightness of the jewelry and helps protect it from oxidation, keeping its shine for longer.
Care Tips
To maintain the quality of your jewelry:
Avoid wearing your jewelry while exercising, showering or swimming
Limit contact with water, perfumes, lotions and other chemicals
Remove your jewelry before sleeping
Cleaning
Clean your jewelry gently when needed. Use lukewarm water with a small amount of mild soap to remove dirt or oils.
Avoid excessive polishing, as this can wear down the gold plating over time. After cleaning, dry your jewelry with a soft cloth without applying too much pressure.
Storage
Store your jewelry in a jewelry box or a soft pouch, away from direct sunlight and heat. Keeping pieces separate helps prevent scratches.
Additional care
Handle pieces with stones carefully, as they can be sensitive to impact. Dropping or improper storage may cause damage.
If you prefer to wear your jewelry daily, a thin layer of transparent nail polish can create a barrier between the jewelry and your skin, helping to reduce exposure to moisture and cosmetics.
